Lacrosse Ball in Stick

The Lacrosse Day Clinic is designed to welcome new players to the game, help players who have been playing for a few years to improve their fundamentals and begin to introduce lacrosse team concepts, and assist experienced lacrosse players in taking their game to the next level as they prepare for high school lacrosse and beyond all in a fun, safe environment. The clinic will be run by North River Lacrosse and coach Brian Fitzgibbons.

Our Lacrosse Day Clinics are open to Girls and Boys K-8th grade.

9:00 – 9:30 — Stick Skills Warm-up — Every Player has a ball in their stick for the ENTIRE half hour! No waiting in lines, everyone is active and involved!

9:30 – 10:00 – Split up into groups by age and ability for age appropriate throwing, catching, and ground ball drills — hundreds of reps in a short time!

10:00 – 10:20 – Introduce skill of the day — could be a individual technique or a team concept such as fast breaks or team defense

10:20 – 11:20 – Break into stations by age and ability to learn the skill of the day in a small setting with coaches working in small groups to help campers master the skill

11:20 – 12:00 – Probably the most important (and most fun!) part of the day — introduce the skill of the day into small sided games and scrimmages to help players start to introduce what they have learned over the course of the day into a game setting.
