Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis.  A paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced competitive game. Beginners are welcome.

About our Program: Pembroke Recreation's After School Program offers a safe, fun environment for children in grades kindergarten through sixth to enjoy after the school day. Children participate in sports, arts & crafts, board games, air hockey and more! Children in the "Homework Club" work on their homework for an hour every day. The children also enjoy the outdoors at the Community Center courts, ball fields, playground, and town green.Single Day participation will require you to register a minimum of 48 hours in advance! Participation may or may not be allowed based on enrollment numbers!  Our recommendation is to register as early as possible to guarantee placement.If you plan on attending Wednesday August 29th & 30th you will need to register for individual days rather than the entire month/weekly option.

If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. Super Soccer Stars All Super Soccer Stars classes are based on age specific curriculum  created by a combination of early childhood, soccer, and behavioral specialists to guarantee that each child is learning and having a blast from the moment the whistle blows.This program will be held on the Town Green unless it rains or there is still snow on the ground, in which case the program will be held in the Community Center Gymnasium

This class is for someone who has made a quilt or two but wants to improve his/her skills or learn new skills!  Feel free to work on any project that interests you and Lois, the instructor, will guide you through the steps.  Patterns can be found online and in sewing/craft stores.

F.A.S.T Basketball 3…..2…..1…..bzzzz. Our basketball program will help increase the student’s confidence in passing, shooting, and dribbling skills so when it’s time to make that game winning shot they are ready! They will also learn the proper techniques of playing defense, rebounding and boxing out. Besides playing scrimmages, the students will also play games such as knock out, dribbling relay races, and hot hands.

F.A.S.T Basketball 3…..2…..1…..bzzzz. Our basketball program will help increase the student’s confidence in passing, shooting, and dribbling skills so when it’s time to make that game winning shot they are ready! They will also learn the proper techniques of playing defense, rebounding and boxing out. Besides playing scrimmages, the students will also play games such as knock out, dribbling relay races, and hot hands.

Pembroke Recreation is pleased to announce plans to continue with the Adult Special Olympics Unified Basketball Team. Help us make this a reality again by signing up to participate in one of the fastest growing sports trends today, joining people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team.  The team is open to men and women ages 18+ living in Pembroke and the surrounding community.  An information and registration night is scheduled for Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 7pm in the gymnasium of the Pembroke Community Center.  Pembroke Recreation Commission member, Ginger Comeau will be there to provide information on how you can join this team.  *Adult volunteers are needed as players and coaches.  For more information contact Ginger Comeau at 781-293-9461x 204 or at gcomeau@newenglandvillage.org

They will also learn the proper techniques of playing defense, rebounding and boxing out. Besides playing scrimmages, the students will also play games such as knock out, dribbling relay races, and hot hands.

Besides playing scrimmages, the students will also play games such as knock out, dribbling relay races, and hot hands.

Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis.  A paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced competitive game. Beginners are welcome.

February  Rec-Cation is a full day program for elementary aged children during school vacation week. The program offers gym games, arts & crafts, board games, and outdoor sports & activities:Tuesday-Friday, February 19th-22nd   8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Cost: $135.00           $115.00 each additional child There are no additional hours Please provide your child with a morning snack, a bagged lunch, and an afternoon snack. *We have a NO PEANUT POLICY-Please do not send your child/children with any peanut products. YOU MAY REGISTER THROUGH MONDAY FEBRUARY 4TH  HOWEVER PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THERE IS A MINIMUM NUMBER OF KIDS NEEDED FOR THE PROGRAM TO RUN .

 Mickey and his pals embark on a search for clues that takes place on the ice, in the air, and in the seats. It transports the audience through iconic Disney tales as they journey to find Tinker Bell after Captain Hook tries to capture her magic.  See your friends from Peter Pan, Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Coco, Beauty and the Beast, Moana, and more as they help Mickey in his quest.
